Summary
Industratech along with McQuillan Boiler Services working on behalf of Honeywell Thermal Systems recently completed a major project at a major plasterboard manufacturing facility in the UK.
The project involved replacing 3 off process burner gas train control skids. The gas train skids were built by Honeywell and shipped to site ready for installation. Once the old skids were dismantled & removed the new skids and gas meter sections were set down in position, the existing gas inlet sections were removed and modified with welded reducers & PN16 flanges. All the sections were then connected, and Strength/Tightness tests carried out. Finally, all compressed air screwed pipe & stainless-steel/Bundy tube sections installed.
Timescales
Meticulous planning and several site surveys by Industratech & MBS ensured the works were completed within a very short period to meet the clients & end user’s commissioning & shutdown deadlines.
